At Ringneck Haven, we offer you an expanded hunting season, with nearly 2,000 acres of quality hunting terrain, and plenty of shooting action. Ringneck Haven is located in South-Central Kansas, near the town of Pretty Prairie, Kansas. Pretty Prairie is a town of about 600 people and is located 25 miles south of Hutchinson, Kansas, and 40 miles west of Wichita, Kansas.
Our central location and proximity to the airport make us an ideal destination for those of you from outside Kansas. Further, we are within reasonable driving distance of all major cities in Kansas.
For those of you flying into Kansas from another state, transportation can be arranged from the Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport. We are happy to help with lodging as well, and we offer one-stop shopping for your convenience. Ringneck Haven is the hunting spot in Kansas you want to visit.
Our pheasant hunting area consists of almost 2000 acres of prime hunting land, with more to be added in the future.
Currently, our controlled hunting area consists of an excellent mix of hunting terrain, ranging from CRP grass to grass-covered draws, and irrigated corn and soybean fields that draw wild game from a wide area to complement our released birds to guarantee you a first-rate hunting experience.
The primary area in the preserve is bisected by a spring-fed creek that supports and attracts not only upland game birds but a good supply of white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and migratory waterfowl.
