Field Hunts

Our field hunts are conducted in areas of beautiful natural upland bird habitat.

Strong flying birds provide a challenging experience.

We offer both half-day and full-day options to accommodate your schedule. Field hunting groups are usually limited to 5 hunters. Ideally, each group also has at least three hunters. Three to four hunters are really an ideal group size for our field hunts.

Under certain circumstances, larger groups may be accommodated for field hunts, but an additional guide will be required with an additional cost. Ultimately, this helps us achieve our most important objective, which is a safe hunt. Field hunting groups larger than five will need to call well in advance to schedule their hunt to ensure we can provide extra guides.

Lunch and bird cleaning are included with all half-day and full-day hunts. Our hardworking guides provide care and training to their dogs year-round and strive to provide your group an exceptional experience. Tipping is always appreciated.

Guided Hunts

1 Half-Day Hunt

Hunters can choose either a morning (9 a.m.-12 p.m.) or afternoon hunt (1-4 p.m.). Hunts are fully-guided and birds are cleaned and packaged after the hunt. Lunch is provided. Hunters have the option of five pheasant, eight chukar, or a mixture of the two species. $250 per person.

2 Full-day hunt

Hunters will get a full day in the field with guides, dogs and lunch provided. Hunters have the option of eight pheasant, ten chukar, or a combination of the two. $350 per person.

3 Ultimate upland experience

This combines the Kansas quail hunt with an opportunity at a limit of Kansas rooster pheasants. Kansas is the only state in the country that has a four rooster limit, however, we’ll do our best to provide you and your party with an exceptional day of hunting. Additional pheasants may also be taken if encountered during the hunt at no charge. $650 per person. Chukar and Pheasant may also be added for $15 and $23 per bird respectively.

Self-Guided Hunts

These hunts are for the hunter that would like an opportunity to bring their own dogs.
Lunch is included on both half-day and full-day hunts.

1 Half-day self-guided hunt

Five pheasants released per hunter. Additional gamebirds encountered in your assigned area may be taken at no extra charge. $250 per hunter.

2 Full-day self-guided hunt

Eight pheasants released per hunter. Additional gamebirds encountered in your assigned hunting area may be taken at no extra charge. $275 per hunter.

Additional birds may be added to any hunt: Pheasants $23; Chukars $15 apiece.
