Our Basic Hunting Package consists of a one-day or multi-day hunt at the rate of $350 per person per day, with a minimum of two hunters in the party.
This price includes guide service, the use of our experienced dogs, a fine lunch, and we clean and pack the birds at the end of the day in your coolers. Of course, if you have a hunting dog that you would prefer to bring, you are more than welcome to do so, and unlike many other resorts, we really mean it.
The controlled hunting season in Kansas runs from September 1 through April 30 of each year, however, we are limiting our season to October 1 through March 31. Generally, the month of September is still somewhat warm, and of course, the birds will still be somewhat on the young side.
Once the calendar gets to October and beyond, the hunting gets more serious and the fun really starts. For your part of the hunt, you will need to provide suitable hunting attire, including some blaze orange attire, a current hunting license, or a controlled hunting area license (which can be purchased online or at any Kansas outlet that sells hunting equipment and supplies), your gun, and ammunition.
For out-of-state hunters, buying a controlled hunting area license will be a nice surprise.
